For entry-level certificates: Replacement certificates from AMP for proctored test completed after May 1, 2007 can be obtained by contacting AMP directly at http://www.goamp.com or calling 800-345-6559. Replacement certificates from Serebra/CompUSA for Proctored testing between January 1, 2006 and April 30, 2007 can only be obtained by contacting Tech Support at: Timothy.Toth@serebra.com or by calling 604-676-5480 x 234 during normal business hours. A proctored test was not required prior to December 31, 2005 for entry-level courses. 1. My Mortgage Broker/employer says I have to do the entry-level course even though I've got 3.5 year experience as a loan originator.  How can he/she force me to do this?

Technically speaking the law requires you to complete 20 hours of continuing education every 24 months.  However, as long your mortgage broker /employer is requiring more stringent compliance than the law, it becomes "company policy" which is determined by your company's management.

No.  Unless the courses were certified by MLEB they cannot be applied  toward Oregon education requirements.

  1. There is a company which is offering an FHA/VA training course.  Can I take their course and get credit later?

Only those courses and course providers which have been certified by the MLEB can be applied toward your education requirements.  If the company offering this course has not been certified at the time you take the course, it cannot be used as credit toward the education requirements even if they are certified at a later date.
